Complicite Workshop April 28-30, 2017


Theatre Yes is is thrilled to be co-hosting a workshop with world renowed theatre practitioners Complicite  April 28-30, 2017 as part of Theatre Alberta’s Rocky Mountain Series collaboration with the Banff Centre.

Complicite internationally acclaimed as one of the most innovative and influential theatre companies of our time. Complicite celebrated for highly innovative and visually striking works created via extensive periods of research and development which bring together performers, designers, writers, artists and specialists from diverse fields as collaborators. Complicte’s diverse associates have developed and evolved a shared creative language, which provides an anchor for the explorative work that foregrounds every piece they create. Complicite’s distinctive work layers choreographed ensemble work with unconventional lighting, sound and video design to create a distinctive aesthetic that has been lauded around the world. Since the company was founded in 1983, it has toured internationally, winning over 50 major awards and becoming known as one of the UK’s most exciting experimental theatre companies. This workshop is geared towards professional theatre practitioners and will facilitate colleagues to exploring the range of techniques used in the creation of Complicite’s work.
